Q + A

When is the RSVP deadline?

We have a firm RSVP deadline of August 14th. If you haven't responded by then, we will assume you won't be able to attend.

Can I bring a date?

Due to space constraints, you may only bring a guest if you've been given a +1. Your guest will be named on your invitation and in the RSVP form.

Are kids welcome?

Kids who are explicitly on the invitation and RSVP form are welcome at the wedding! Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate any additional or unexpected guests at the reception due to space constrictions. Please reach out if you have any questions!

What will the weather be like?

Fall in NJ can range from warm to slightly crisp, but all activities will be indoors!

Will there be a hotel block/accommodations for out of town guests?

We have reserved a hotel block at The Madison Hotel for guests who would like to stay, available from Friday, October 3rd to Sunday, October 5th. More information can be found on the "Travel" page.

Where should I park?

There is plenty of free parking at the hotel for both overnight guests and guests driving in day of.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

The ceremony and reception locations are wheelchair accessible. You can enter the ceremony space via a ramp connected to the cocktail hour space, and there are additional ramps to reach the lobby, rooms, etc. Please let us know in your RSVP if you will be needing accommodations!

What should I wear?

Our dress code will be Formal. For men, this includes a suit and tie. For women, this can be anywhere between floor-length dresses to pant suits and heels. Don't be afraid of wearing color, but please avoid wearing burgundy/darker shades of red. If you have to ask "is this too much/close to white?", the answer is yes.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Indoors! There is an outdoor space available during cocktail hour, but you don't have to use it.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Bring comfy shoes for dancing! You are more than welcome to change into sneakers or sandals for dancing but we request dress shoes for the ceremony.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

We ask that guests limit photography and videography to any events outside of the ceremony, such as cocktail hour and reception, as we are having an unplugged ceremony. This includes phones, cameras, iPads, and anything capable of taking photographs from the start of the procession in to the end of the recession out. We also ask that you remain at your seats during all parts of the ceremony, as our photographer and videographer will be up and down the aisle in order to record their shots.

Whom should I call with questions?

Please direct all questions to Allison at (973) 216-6334 or Ryan at (732) 439-6997.
